Vice-President C. P. Radhakrishnan visits Jaipur to attend the Rajasthan University convocation and the 23rd Cancer Survivors Day program.

Vice-President C. P. Radhakrishnan arrived at Jaipur International Airport on Saturday for a one-day official visit to the state capital. He was warmly received by Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Kisanrao Bagde, Deputy Chief Minister Prem Chand Bairwa, and other senior officials.
During his visit, the Vice-President is scheduled to attend several events, including an academic convocation and the 23rd Cancer Survivors’ Day program. In a post on X, he mentioned that he was greeted at the airport by the Governor, the Deputy Chief Minister, and other dignitaries. The post also stated that he would participate in the 35th Convocation of the University of Rajasthan and the Cancer Survivors’ Day event at Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer Hospital and Research Centre.
He attended the 6th Convocation Ceremony of AIIMS Rishikesh, which marked an important milestone in the institute’s academic journey. The event was also attended by Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Anupriya Patel, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, and Governor Lt. Gen. Gurmit Singh (Retd.).
At the ceremony, the Vice-President released the institute’s annual publication “RUDRAKSHA,” highlighting its achievements, innovations, and progress in medical education and research over the past year. Addressing the graduates, he described the convocation as both a moment of achievement and a step toward greater responsibility. He congratulated the students and encouraged them to maintain high standards of ethics, compassion, and dedication in their medical careers while serving society and the nation.
