Iranians have been actively mocking US President Donald Trump through a wave of AI-generated videos, even after he extended a fragile ceasefire with Tehran. One such video, recently shared by the Iranian consulate in Hyderabad, has gained significant attention online for its satirical take on Trump’s decision, which he claimed was made at Pakistan’s request.

Posted on the consulate’s official X account, the 45-second clip humorously depicts an AI-generated version of Trump seated at a negotiation table alongside Vice President JD Vance and other officials, waiting for Iranian representatives who never arrive. Initially, the animated Trump appears confident, typing that negotiations with Iran are progressing well.

The video then uses a “2,000 years later” style transition to show time passing, with Trump becoming increasingly frustrated over Iran’s absence. His tone shifts from optimism to anger as he threatens military action if Iran refuses to engage in talks. He repeatedly questions the empty room, asking where the Iranian delegation is. Eventually, an aide hands him a note reading, “Shut up, Trump,” reinforcing the mocking tone of the video.

The AI version of Trump announces he will extend the ceasefire at Pakistan’s request before abruptly leaving the room, accompanied by laughter. Trump stated that the ceasefire was extended indefinitely to allow Iran additional time to prepare a unified proposal to end the conflict. Meanwhile, Iran has not confirmed its participation in upcoming peace talks, with officials accusing the United States of lacking sincerity in negotiations.
