Pakistan Restricts Al Jazeera Over PoK Coverage, Labels Reporting "Yellow Journalism"

Pakistan has reportedly blocked access to the English-language website of international broadcaster Al Jazeera, accusing the Qatar-based news network of publishing "yellow journalism" through its coverage of the recent crackdown and political unrest in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). The restriction came after Al Jazeera published several reports on protests, security operations and the political situation in PoK following the region's legislative elections.
