Reaffirming his allegations of “unethical conduct” against Rahul Gandhi, Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, BJP MP Nishikant Dubey questioned whether the Congress leader was attempting to divide India for political advantage. In a post on X, Dubey shared documents he described as evidence supporting his claims. He accused Gandhi of leading what he called the “tukde-tukde gang” and said he had sought permission from the Lok Sabha Speaker to hold a debate on the matter. Dubey also mentioned figures such as George Soros and organizations including the Ford Foundation, alleging links and raising questions about Gandhi’s activities and foreign travel funding.

Dubey had written to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, urging the formation of a Parliamentary Inquiry Committee to examine Gandhi’s conduct, particularly following his recent speech in Parliament. In his letter, Dubey claimed it was his constitutional duty to highlight what he described as serious misconduct. He further accused Gandhi of being involved in activities aimed at destabilizing the country.

Dubey said he had formally introduced a motion in the Lok Sabha accusing Gandhi of misleading the nation. He called for Gandhi’s parliamentary membership to be terminated and demanded that he be permanently barred from contesting elections. Rahul Gandhi challenged the BJP-led central government to move a privilege motion against him, stating that he remains committed to advocating for farmers. His statement followed remarks by Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju, who said BJP members would submit a privilege notice against Gandhi for allegedly misleading Parliament and making unfounded claims.
