National Investigation Agency conducted a raid on Monday morning at the residence of a businessman in the Guloora area of Handwara, Jammu and Kashmir, as part of its ongoing probe into the Red Fort blast case. Officials are currently searching the premises and reviewing documents and electronic devices, with further details yet to be disclosed.

A Special NIA court at Patiala House extended the judicial custody of seven accused individuals, including Dr Shaheen Saeed, Mufti Irfan, Dr Adeel Ahmed, Jasir Bilal Wani, Dr Muzammil, Yasir Ahmed Dar, and Nasir Bilal Malla, for an additional 15 days. The accused were presented before the court via video conferencing, following which Special Judge Pitambar Dutt ordered the extension.

During the previous hearing on March 11, the agency informed the court that its investigation had been affected by protests held in Jammu and Kashmir in support of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Two other accused, Tufail Ahmed Bhat and Zamir Ahmed Ahangar, were remanded to NIA custody for five days, and the court had already granted a 45-day extension for completing the investigation.

The agency stated that the two men, residents of Jammu and Kashmir, were arrested for their alleged association with the Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind (AGH) outfit and for reportedly supplying weapons to the main accused. They are believed to be active over-ground workers, bringing the total number of arrests in the case to 11. The case pertains to a high-intensity car blast near the Red Fort on November 11, 2025. The first arrest in the case was made on November 16, 2025, with Aamir Rashid Mir taken into custody, followed by several others on different dates.
