A NEET UG 2026 candidate from Nagpur was mistakenly allotted an examination centre in Abu Dhabi for the upcoming Re-NEET UG 2026 exam due to an apparent error in the admit card issued by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The student, Abdullah Mohammad Talib, noticed the unusual allocation after downloading his admit card from the official NTA website. While he had applied for the exam from Nagpur and expected a centre within India, the document mentioned an examination venue at an Indian school in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

The issue raised concerns as Abdullah reportedly does not have a passport, making international travel impossible for him to appear for the exam. A screenshot of the admit card showing the overseas centre was shared online, following which the matter was brought to NTA’s attention.

NTA officials reportedly acknowledged the mistake and attributed it to a technical glitch. The agency assured the candidate’s family that the error would be rectified and a corrected admit card with the proper examination centre would be issued. According to sources, the family received communication from NTA stating that the correction process would be completed soon.

Candidates appearing for Re-NEET UG 2026 have been advised to carefully verify their admit card details and immediately report any errors related to personal information or examination centres. The Re-NEET UG 2026 exam is scheduled for June 21 and will be conducted in pen-and-paper mode from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM. Candidates must carry their admit cards and required documents to the assigned examination centre.
