Mother-Daughter's Car Rammed on Gurugram Road Where Biker Sia Chauhan Was Hit

A mother and her daughter have alleged that their car was deliberately rammed by a black SUV during a road-rage incident on Golf Course Road in Gurugram, the same stretch where biker Sia Chauhan was allegedly hit by a car earlier this month. According to the complaint filed with the Gurugram Police, the incident took place on the night of August 27 near AIT Chowk. The 45-year-old woman was travelling with her 24-year-old daughter in a grey Maruti Suzuki Swift when the alleged confrontation occurred.

The woman told police that the dispute began while they were travelling towards the Sector 54 Rapid Metro station. She alleged that the driver of a black Mahindra Scorpio subsequently blocked their way and got out of the vehicle carrying an iron rod. The complainant further alleged that the man damaged the headlight of their car with the rod and verbally abused both her and her daughter before leaving the spot.

A case was later registered at Sector 56 police station against an unidentified Scorpio driver. Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and are examining available evidence. The complaint has attracted attention because it concerns the same Golf Course Road stretch that recently came under scrutiny following the alleged hit-and-run involving biker Shivani “Sia” Chauhan.

Chauhan was allegedly struck by a car while riding with other bikers on September 13. The incident was captured in videos that later circulated widely on social media, prompting a police investigation. Police have since arrested suspects in connection with the biker case, while investigators continue to examine the events leading up to the collision.

The two incidents are separate and there is currently no indication of a connection between them. However, the latest complaint has once again raised concerns over road safety and aggressive driving on one of Gurugram’s busiest stretches. Police are expected to examine CCTV recordings and other available evidence as part of the investigation into the mother-daughter complaint.
