A massive fire broke out on the third floor of a private company in the Phase 2 area of Noida, prompting authorities to deploy several fire engines to control the blaze and prevent it from spreading further. The incident occurred at Capital Power System Limited, a company involved in the production of electricity meters. Officials said the exact cause of the fire has not yet been determined.

According to Rajeev Narayan Mishra, Joint Commissioner of Police Law and Order, the fire department responded quickly after receiving information about the incident. The firefighting team, along with the Chief Fire Officer of Gautam Budh Nagar, reached the location immediately and began efforts to extinguish the flames. After continuous operations by the fire brigade, the blaze was eventually brought under control.

Around 250 employees who were working the night shift inside the building were evacuated during the rescue operation. Officials said that more than 30 fire tenders and hydraulic platforms were used to safely rescue the workers from the smoke filled structure. Due to heavy smoke and suffocation, many workers required immediate medical attention.

The rescued individuals were transported to the district hospital for treatment. Authorities confirmed that over two dozen people were admitted for observation and care. While most of the affected workers are reported to be in stable condition, a few who suffered severe smoke inhalation are currently receiving treatment in the intensive care unit. Officials stated that the situation is now under control and further investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
