Malayalam actress Vincy Aloshious accuses co-actor of inappropriate behavior on film set

Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala), April 16: Malayalam actress Vincy Sony Aloshious has accused a fellow actor of misbehaving with her on a film set while allegedly under the influence of drugs. The incident came to light after Aloshious, who recently participated in an anti-drug awareness campaign, stated that she would avoid working with actors known to use drugs—an opinion that drew both support and criticism online.
In response to the divided reactions, Aloshious posted a video on Instagram explaining the personal experience that led to her statement. She recounted a troubling encounter during the shoot of a previous film, where a male lead actor—without naming him—allegedly misbehaved with her and a colleague while intoxicated.
She shared that during a wardrobe issue on set, the actor made an inappropriate comment in front of the crew, offering to "help fix" her dress. The behavior, she said, made it difficult for her to continue working on the film. In another instance, she recalled seeing the actor spit out a white powder during a scene rehearsal, which she suspected was a drug.
Although she informed the production team, including the director, about her discomfort, the film continued with the same actor as the lead. Aloshious said the team prioritized completing the project despite the situation. She concluded the video by reaffirming her decision to avoid working with actors who use drugs, highlighting the impact the incident had on her. Vincy Sony Aloshious is known for her roles in films such as Rekha, Vikruthi, and Jana Gana Mana.
