KBC 17: Manoj Bajpayee delivers Amitabh Bachchan's famous 'Deewar' dialogue in Bhojpuri.

Actors Manoj Bajpayee, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Sharib Hashmi are all set to appear in a new episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 17, hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. The makers released a fresh promo on Sunday, giving viewers a glimpse of what to expect. In the clip, Manoj Bajpayee is seen recreating one of Amitabh Bachchan’s iconic dialogues from the classic film Deewar, but he delivers it in a lively Bhojpuri style. With full dramatic expression, he says, “Ae Peter, ye one khoje te humre ke, hum hafne baithalwa,” meaning Peter was searching for him elsewhere while he was already waiting at the spot.
Amitabh Bachchan joins the fun by responding in his own Bhojpuri version of his famous Zanjeer dialogue. He says, “Dekho lalua, aha hade ho, waha tarike se hade raho, ee police station hai jaano, tohar baap ka ghar nahi hai,” telling him to remain where he is because the place is a police station, not his home. The lighthearted exchange highlights the warm chemistry between the actors.
This year also marks a major milestone for Kaun Banega Crorepati, as the show completes 25 years on television. It first aired on July 3, 2000, and quickly grew into one of India’s most watched and admired programs. It was also Amitabh Bachchan’s first appearance on the small screen, giving his career a fresh boost. The show has continued to connect with audiences through emotional contestant stories and Bachchan’s signature style. Manoj Bajpayee will soon return as Srikant Tiwari in the third season of The Family Man, created by Raj and DK.
