Israeli settlers raided a town in the West Bank, and Israeli troops shot and killed three Palestinians.

On Wednesday, June 25, a violent incident unfolded in the Palestinian town of Kafr Malik, northeast of Ramallah, as dozens of Israeli settlers launched an attack that escalated into a deadly confrontation. According to the Palestinian health ministry, three Palestinians were killed and seven others were injured during the clash.
The Israeli military reported that the settlers set fire to property, which prompted the deployment of both military and police forces. Upon arrival, troops encountered violent unrest, including stone-throwing. According to the military, some Palestinians also opened fire on the Israeli forces, who returned fire in response. Five Israeli suspects were taken into custody, and one Israeli army officer sustained light injuries.
Footage from the scene, which could not be independently verified by Reuters, showed at least two vehicles engulfed in flames. Reacting to the violence, Hussein al-Sheikh, a top aide to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, condemned the actions of the Israeli government. Posting on X, he said Israel’s behavior and decisions were pushing the region toward further conflict. He called on the international community to step in urgently to protect Palestinian civilians.
In a separate incident earlier the same day, a young Palestinian boy was shot and killed by Israeli troops during a military operation in Al-Yamun, a town west of Jenin, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent. These incidents add to growing tensions and ongoing violence in the West Bank, where confrontations between Israeli forces, settlers, and Palestinians have escalated in recent months.
