The footage, recorded around 2 pm on Saturday by neighborhood cameras, shows a stocky man of about average height dressed in dark clothing moving deliberately through the East Side area roughly two hours before gunfire broke out inside an engineering building during finals week. Police say the behavior suggests advance planning rather than random movement.

Providence Police Chief Oscar Perez said investigators are focusing on the suspect’s distinctive walk, arm motions, and posture visible in the enhanced video and urged the public to closely review these details.
