Mandai Wildlife Group is celebrating Singapore’s 60th birthday with a range of special offers and wildlife experiences at the Singapore Zoo and other attractions within Mandai Wildlife Reserve. The initiative, called Mandai is Wild about SG, includes the SG60 WildPass Specials featuring deals such as two admission tickets to the Singapore Zoo or River Wonders for $60, available until June 30. There is also a youth offer (ages 13 to 21) of three tickets to any Mandai wildlife park for $60, valid until August 31.

Local residents holding a valid ticket to any wildlife park can purchase a Friend of Rainforest Wild Asia individual membership for $60 from May 31 to August 31. These WildPass Specials are exclusively for local residents. Additionally, the SG60 Senior Promo allows senior residents to purchase the annual Friends of Mandai five-park membership for $60 (down from $235) until August 31.

Beyond discounts, the Mandai is Wild about SG campaign offers unique wildlife encounters like Hello from the Wild, starting June 7. These 20-minute experiences let visitors interact closely with animals such as capybaras at River Wonders, and fennec foxes and ring-tailed lemurs at the Singapore Zoo, with opportunities to feed and help with enrichment activities. A wallaby-focused experience will debut at Night Safari later this year.

For a behind-the-scenes look, the Backstage Pass: Penguin Encounters at Bird Paradise begins June 7, offering visitors insight into the care of king, gentoo, and northern rockhopper penguins in a non-public area. A new VR film adventure about penguins will also be available at Ocean Network Express Penguin Cove from July 18.

From May 31 to August 10, visitors can explore Born to be Wild, a free digital trail showcasing stories of Singapore’s native wildlife, including newborn animals at Mandai. Participants completing the trail will receive a limited-edition SG60 keepsake. For those who enjoy classic experiences, the Too Wild to Miss itineraries highlight iconic Mandai attractions such as the world’s first free-ranging orangutan exhibit at the Singapore Zoo and the new Pangolin Trail at Night Safari.

Community events include the return of Wild Day Out, Mandai Wildlife West’s signature event, happening June 28 and 29. This pet-friendly event features local-themed activities and nostalgic games like Five Stones, orchid postcard crafts inspired by Singapore’s national flower, and other nature-inspired fun, in collaboration with The Artground. More programmes and promotions are planned throughout the year. Details, bookings, and updates on SG60 celebrations are available on Mandai Wildlife Reserve’s official website.
