On Dr. Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar's birth anniversary, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced the launch of a 15-day educational campaign in schools, aimed at familiarizing students with Ambedkar’s life, values, and contributions as the principal architect of the Indian Constitution. "Across the country, people are celebrating Babasaheb Ambedkar's birth anniversary. The Delhi government is also holding several events. Over the next 15 days, our schools will educate students about his personality, character, and achievements," said CM Rekha Gupta.

As part of the initiative, students will also visit significant sites linked to Dr. Ambedkar. "We plan to take them to his 'samadhi sthal' on Alipur Road, as well as to the Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar International Centre," she added. Highlighting Ambedkar's importance to the Aam Aadmi Party, National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal said the party strives to uphold his ideals by working to provide dignity, education, and opportunities to every citizen.

During a tribute event, Kejriwal stated, "On this occasion of Babasaheb Ambedkar’s Jayanti, we gather to pay our respects. On behalf of myself, the party, and all our volunteers, I offer heartfelt homage to him." He emphasized that both Babasaheb Ambedkar and Shaheed Bhagat Singh serve as guiding inspirations for the AAP. "Our party draws strength from the lives and teachings of Babasaheb and Bhagat Singh. We are committed to following their vision in shaping our work and governance," he said.

Criticizing the superficial gestures of political leaders who honor Ambedkar in appearance but ignore his principles, Kejriwal used a powerful analogy: “Imagine telling your son to live a certain way, but he does the opposite—yet every morning, he puts flowers before your photo. Wouldn’t that seem hypocritical? That’s how some politicians treat Babasaheb—they don’t follow his values but still perform rituals in his name.” He strongly condemned this gap between symbolic respect and real action, stating, “Many leaders fail to live by Babasaheb’s ideals while pretending to honor him. It’s all just for show."
