The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has formulated an extensive nationwide strategy to publicise the Union Budget 2026 and highlight its key features to the public. As part of the initiative, Union Ministers, Chief Ministers of BJP-led states, and senior party leaders will hold press conferences across the country, with nearly 150 locations planned for these interactions.

The Budget Outreach Campaign 2026 will run from 1 February to 15 February, featuring a series of programmes and engagements aimed at showcasing the vision, priorities, and benefits of the Budget. In addition to on-ground activities, the BJP will implement a robust digital outreach effort, promoting key highlights across social media platforms with active involvement from influencers. The campaign will focus particularly on engaging youth and broader audiences through short videos and other digital content.

To ensure smooth coordination and execution, the party has established a dedicated team led by National General Secretary Tarun Chugh, including Saroj Pandey, Shrikant Sharma, Narendra Raina, GVL Narasimha Rao, Gopal Krishna Agrawal, Anil Antony, Sanjay Tandon, and Guru Prakash Paswan. The BJP aims to communicate the Budget’s message to all segments of society, emphasizing its commitment to inclusive growth and national development.

MDMK General Secretary Vaiko claimed that the forthcoming Union Budget would be prejudiced against Tamil Nadu. Speaking to the media on Thursday, he accused the BJP of indulging in language politics and misleading the state’s people. Vaiko alleged that the Centre would continue its biased approach towards Tamil Nadu while attempting to rhetorically appease the state.

“The Union government is set to discriminate against Tamil Nadu once again in the upcoming Budget. The BJP will attempt to mislead the people by praising Tamil Nadu, Bharathiar, and Sangam literature in Hindi, but Prime Minister Modi’s attempts to deceive the state will fail,” he said. He further accused the BJP-led government of aggressively promoting Hindi and Sanskrit, stating that Tamil Nadu would resist such moves “even at the cost of lives” and warning that any further attempts could have “serious consequences.”
