At least six private schools in Gurugram have received emails threatening bombs.

At least six private schools in Gurugram received bomb threat emails on Wednesday morning, prompting heightened security measures from school authorities, police, and district administration. The threats were reported just as students were about to arrive at the schools. Police confirmed that search operations are underway at all six schools, with students being evacuated as a precaution. Bomb squads, police teams, and sniffer dogs have been deployed across the campuses to ensure safety.
The schools that reportedly received the threats include Kunsakpalan School in DLF Phase-1, Lancers School in Sector-53, Heritage Experiential Learning School in Sector-64, Shiv Nadar School in DLF Phase-1, Shri Ram Aravali School, and Pathway World School near Badshahpur. According to school authorities, the emails were received at around 7:10 am. Immediately after, the schools informed the police control room and notified parents, asking them not to send their children to school. Students who had already arrived were sent home.
Police teams promptly reached the campuses and activated security protocols. SDRF (State Disaster Response Force) teams were also called in to assist with the investigation. Authorities are carrying out thorough checks to ensure no danger remains. A senior police officer stated that no suspicious objects have been found so far, but both the police and administration continue to monitor the situation closely. Investigations are ongoing to trace the source of the threat emails, and officials have assured the public that every precaution is being taken to ensure the safety of students and staff.
