Army Chief visits forward posts in Baramulla, praises soldiers for Operation Sindoor

Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi visited forward areas in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday, where he praised the troops for their strong hold over the Line of Control (LoC) during Operation Sindoor. He urged the soldiers to stay constantly prepared to tackle any threat with firm and decisive action.
In a post on X, the Army stated that the Chief of Army Staff visited the Dagger Division under the Chinar Corps and interacted with personnel at forward locations. "General Upendra Dwivedi, COAS, visited the forward positions of the Dagger Division, Chinar Corps, and engaged with troops of all ranks. He applauded their bravery, high morale, and alertness in maintaining dominance along the LoC during Operation Sindoor," the Additional Directorate General of Public Information posted.
The Army chief also commended the troops for their role in neutralizing terror camps across the LoC in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir. He appreciated the efforts of the Dagger Division in assisting civilians affected by cross-border shelling by Pakistan, and emphasized the importance of being ever-ready to respond effectively to any challenge.
