A major fire broke out in a building in the Palam area of Delhi on Wednesday, officials confirmed. The incident prompted an immediate response from the Delhi Fire Services, which deployed around 30 fire engines to the scene. Firefighters are currently engaged in controlling and extinguishing the blaze, with operations still underway. Authorities have stated that, so far, no casualties or injuries have been reported. Further details about the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are still awaited.

According to officials, the fire was reported earlier in the day, leading to a swift mobilization of resources to prevent it from spreading to nearby structures. Emergency teams are continuing their efforts to fully contain the situation and ensure safety in the surrounding area.

In a separate incident earlier this week, a fire broke out on Sunday morning at Nature Bazaar in Andheria Modh, also in Delhi. The blaze affected nearly 40 shops, causing significant damage to property. The Delhi Fire Department received an emergency call at 7:37 am, after which ten fire engines were rushed to the spot.

Fire officer Mansih Kumar Shekhawat, who was present at the scene, confirmed that there were no reports of injuries or casualties in the incident. He stated that while the fire had largely been brought under control, some smoke and residual heat remained, which firefighters were actively working to cool down.
