The accident took place around 1:30 AM local time at a location called Mufrahath, situated between Badr and Madinah on a high-speed traffic route. Most of the passengers were asleep when the crash happened, which intensified the tragedy. Among the victims were 20 women and 11 children, underscoring the profound human loss.
