Salman Khan Seen at Mumbai's Kalina Airport as Security Is Tightened

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was spotted at Mumbai’s Kalina Private Airport on Monday as security arrangements across the city remained heightened following a shooting incident involving actor Tiger Shroff’s car and a reported bomb threat targeting veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan’s residence. Salman arrived at the airport accompanied by a team of security personnel, including armed guards. Dressed casually, the actor briefly acknowledged photographers and fans before making his way inside the airport under close protection.

His appearance comes amid increased security around his residence at Galaxy Apartments in Bandra, Mumbai. Authorities have reportedly strengthened security measures following the recent firing incident in Juhu. According to reports, the shooting took place at approximately 7 pm on October 18, when Tiger Shroff was leaving a football club in the Juhu area. The assailants allegedly fired at the actor’s vehicle. Tiger escaped without injuries, while his driver reportedly sustained injuries.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Mohit Garg confirmed that the vehicle was targeted as the actor was leaving the club premises. The incident prompted security agencies to reassess arrangements around locations associated with prominent Bollywood personalities. Following the shooting, police personnel were deployed outside Salman Khan’s residence, with some officers wearing bulletproof jackets. Police vehicles were also stationed in the surrounding area as a precautionary measure.

Reports emerged last week about an alleged bomb threat email that reportedly referred to Amitabh Bachchan’s bungalow in Mumbai. The email was received by a school in the Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) area. However, it was not immediately clear whether the threat specifically named Bachchan’s Jalsa or Prateeksha residence. The developments have drawn attention to security arrangements for prominent film personalities, particularly as recent incidents have raised concerns about potential threats and the safety of celebrities in Mumbai.

On the professional front, Salman Khan continues to host Bigg Boss Season 20. However, he was absent from the October 18 episode of Weekend Ka Vaar because of prior work commitments. Filmmaker Rohit Shetty stepped in to host that episode. Salman is also expected to appear at IIFA 2027, adding another major event to his upcoming professional calendar. As investigations and security assessments continue, the actor’s airport appearance has attracted attention amid the heightened precautions being taken around high-profile personalities in Mumbai.
