Uttarakhand employees and officers have been instructed to submit details of all their movable and immovable assets, including those of their family members, to the state Personnel Department by December 15. Personnel Secretary Shailesh Bagoli has directed all department heads, secretaries, and their subordinate officers and staff to ensure the asset details are submitted within the given timeline.

Following Uttarakhand High Court instructions, the asset declaration must include property owned at the time of appointment as well as current holdings. Officials must also report any asset increases every five years. The declaration should cover assets of the employee’s spouse, dependent parents, children, or any other dependent relatives. The Personnel Secretary warned that non-compliance would lead to disciplinary action, emphasizing that all department heads and secretaries ensure timely submission.
