Days after the teaser of the much-awaited action-war film Battle of Galwan was released, the makers have now shared a brief glimpse of the movie’s first song, Maatrubhumi. Starring Salman Khan in the lead role, the film has already generated strong anticipation. Salman took to Instagram on Friday to unveil the 15-second teaser of the song, which begins with the powerful sound of a military bugle and visuals of the Indian national flag standing tall. The clip focuses on themes of courage, sacrifice, and the deep sense of patriotism shown by Indian soldiers.

The complete version of Maatrubhumi is set to be released on January 24, just ahead of Republic Day. The song is composed by Himesh Reshammiya, with lyrics penned by Sameer Anjaan, and is sung by Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal. Together, the music and vocals aim to evoke strong national pride and emotional resonance.

The teaser of Battle of Galwan, which dropped in December last year, offered the first look at Salman Khan as an Indian Army officer. His character is shown in a calm yet intense avatar, reflecting the discipline and resolve of a soldier. The visuals highlight rugged landscapes, freezing temperatures, and close-quarter combat, giving viewers a sense of the harsh conditions faced by troops stationed at high altitudes.

The film is inspired by the 2020 Galwan Valley clash between Indian and Chinese forces, a tragic incident in which 20 Indian soldiers lost their lives. The clash led to heightened tensions along the Line of Actual Control in Ladakh, prompting increased military presence and vigilance. Actress Chitrangda Singh stars opposite Salman Khan, and the film is scheduled for release on April 17.
