After captivating audiences and achieving an impressive box office run in India, Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar is now preparing for its next major milestone with a release in Japan. Following its strong domestic success, the film is scheduled to arrive in Japanese theatres in July. The announcement was made by the filmmakers on social media, where they shared a new poster and revealed the release date, inviting Japanese audiences to experience the film’s high-energy storytelling on 10 July 2026.

Directed by Aditya Dhar and produced under the banners of Jio Studios and B62 Studios, the movie features a strong ensemble cast. Alongside Ranveer Singh, the film stars Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, and Sara Arjun, all of whom have contributed to the film’s widespread appeal. The music, composed by Shashwat Sachdev, has also gained significant traction on digital platforms, further boosting the film’s popularity.

Dhurandhar 2 continues to perform steadily at the Indian box office, maintaining its momentum even in its sixth week. The sequel features an extended cast including Gaurav Gera and Rakesh Bedi, adding depth to the franchise. The Dhurandhar franchise has crossed the Rs 3000 crore mark worldwide, making it the first Indian film series to achieve this remarkable milestone. The films are produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar, and Lokesh Dhar, further cementing their success globally.
