Raid 2 Day 4 Box Office Collection: Ajay Devgn's film surpasses Kesari 2, Jaat, and Sikandar, earning Rs 70.75 crore.

Ajay Devgn’s Raid 2 is off to a stellar start at the box office, showing strong momentum through its opening weekend. After a solid launch, the film continued to build on its success, delivering a remarkable performance that has helped it climb quickly up the box office charts. According to data from Sacnilk, the film’s collection surged by 50% on Saturday, earning ₹18 crore, and then saw another significant rise on Sunday, raking in ₹21.50 crore — the highest single-day figure for the film so far.
This consistent growth has pushed the film’s total domestic earnings to ₹70.75 crore in just four days since its release. Raid 2 opened with an impressive ₹19.25 crore on Thursday, followed by ₹12 crore on Friday. With a total weekend collection of ₹39.50 crore, the film has already become the sixth highest grosser of the year.
Raid 2 has also outperformed several other major 2025 releases during its first weekend. Salman Khan’s Sikandar managed ₹30 crore, Akshay Kumar’s Kesari 2 earned ₹22.75 crore, and Sunny Deol’s Jaat collected ₹23.75 crore over Saturday and Sunday. In fact, Raid 2 has already surpassed the first installment of the franchise, which earned ₹30.97 crore in its opening weekend in 2018.
Strong word-of-mouth and favorable reviews have played a crucial role in drawing audiences to theaters. The film maintained steady occupancy rates, starting with 19.38% in the morning, rising to 55.07% in the evening, and ending the day with 39.42% occupancy at night. With this trajectory, the film is expected to reach the ₹100 crore mark soon, provided it continues to perform well during the weekdays, especially on Monday.
Starring Ajay Devgn in the lead, with Riteish Deshmukh playing the antagonist, and Vaani Kapoor and Saurabh Shukla in key roles, Raid 2 is produced by Panorama Studios and T-Series. It was released in theaters on May 1, 2025, and while it currently dominates the box office, it will soon face fresh competition from Bhool Chuk Maaf, featuring Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi, which is set to release on May 9.
