On Saturday, India dismissed Pakistan's claim of destroying its S-400 air defense system. During a press briefing, Wing Commander Vyomika Singh strongly rejected the allegations, stating that India "unequivocally rejects these false claims being spread by Pakistan." Singh also pointed out that Pakistan had been spreading misinformation, including false claims about the destruction of Indian airfields in Surat and Sirsa. To counter these allegations, she presented time-stamped photos of the Sirsa and Suratgarh air bases, disproving claims of damage to the locations.

Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri condemned Pakistan for its deceptive actions, emphasizing that state-run agencies in Pakistan were spreading baseless propaganda about attacks on Indian military assets. He remarked, “Pakistani claims about their activities are riddled with lies, misinformation, and propaganda. These claims about attacking and destroying military installations are completely false.”

Misri reaffirmed that the allegations regarding the destruction of the Sirsa and Suratgarh air force stations, as well as the S-400 base in Adampur, were untrue. The PIB Fact Check Unit also debunked the claim about the destruction of the Indian S-400 system, posting on X that the reports were fake and baseless. Additionally, the government rejected claims about India carrying out a drone attack on the Nankana Sahib gurdwara in Pakistan, with the PIB Fact Check Unit labeling the claim as completely false.
