In the Pushpa 2 stampede case, Allu Arjun has been asked to appear in court.

Telugu actor Allu Arjun has been summoned by the Nampally Court in Hyderabad over the Sandhya Theatre stampede case and has been instructed to appear in person on June 22 for a hearing. The summons are part of ongoing legal proceedings linked to the December 4, 2024 incident that took place outside Sandhya Theatre during a special screening of Pushpa 2. The actor’s legal representatives confirmed that he has been directed to attend court, while stating that further details will be shared later.
According to his team, “Nampally Court has issued summons to actor Allu Arjun to appear in person before the court on Monday for a hearing. More details will be provided later.” Police from Chikkadpally have named Allu Arjun as Accused No. 11 (A11), while the theatre management has been listed as Accused Nos. 1 to 10. In total, summons have been issued to 19 accused, and chargesheets have already been filed against 23 individuals in connection with the case.
The incident occurred when large crowds gathered outside the theatre to see the actor during the film’s premiere. As he greeted fans from his car sunroof, the situation escalated into a stampede. In the chaos, a woman named Revathi died, and her son Sri Teja suffered serious injuries and was hospitalized. Following the tragedy, financial assistance was extended to the victim’s family. Additionally, Arjun’s father, film producer Allu Aravind, announced a ₹2 crore support package for the bereaved family.
