The Delhi Police have obtained CCTV footage from around 50 locations, revealing that the Delhi blast accused, Dr. Umar, travelled through several parts of the national capital before arriving near the Red Fort complex on November 10, police sources said. According to the police’s mapping, Dr. Umar drove through multiple districts of Delhi before 3 p.m. CCTV cameras captured his vehicle on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. Sources stated that he was first seen in several areas of the South East District after entering Delhi from Faridabad via the Badarpur border.

From there, he moved to the East District, then proceeded towards the Central District’s Ring Road, and later reached the North District. He was next spotted in Ashok Vihar in the North West District, where he stopped to eat. Afterward, he returned to the Central District, visited a mosque, and finally arrived at the Red Fort parking area at 3:19 p.m. Investigators said that after fleeing from Faridabad, Dr. Umar had travelled to Firozpur Jhirka via Mewat before returning to Delhi on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. During this journey, he stopped at a bus stop, spent the night at a dhaba, and slept inside his car.

Earlier today, a joint team of the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) and Delhi Police recovered a body part near New Lajpat Rai Market, close to the blast site that claimed 12 lives. The remains were sent for forensic examination to assist the ongoing investigation. Security agencies have also recovered diaries belonging to Dr. Umar and Dr. Muzammil, which contained notes dated November 8 to 12, indicating that the blast was planned during that period. The diaries also listed about 25 individuals, mostly from Jammu and Kashmir and Faridabad, suggesting that the explosion was part of a well-coordinated conspiracy.
