DBS PayLah cashback returns at hawker stalls, heartland shops from July 12.

Singaporeans and residents can once again receive cashback when using the DBS PayLah app to scan and pay at hawker stalls, wet markets, and heartland shops. This promotion runs every Saturday from July 12 to September 27 and is part of DBS/POSB’s celebration of Singapore’s 60th birthday, according to a statement issued on June 29.
The first 160,000 users to pay with PayLah at over 22,000 participating stalls and shops can get up to $3 cashback. Participating outlets will display a POSB Support Our Heartland Shops tag or a PayLah Scan to Pay SGQR sticker. Over the next three months, DBS plans to distribute around two million cashback rewards through PayLah to support everyday spending in the heartlands.
Additionally, from July 1 to September 30, selected F&B outlets such as Old Chang Kee, BreadTalk, and Toast Box will offer 60-cent meals to customers using the POSB Everyday Card or PAssion POSB Debit Card. Starting August 1, DBS/POSB credit cardmembers can redeem DBS Points and POSB Daily$ for Rewards Flexi eVouchers via PayLah, usable at any SGQR-enabled merchant. Those who exchange 6,000 DBS Points for a $60 voucher between August 1 and September 30 will get an extra $60 cashback.
DBS noted that over 70% of PayLah Scan to Pay transactions are for food and groceries at heartland locations, with 39% of cashback redeemers being seniors or earning under $2,500 monthly. DBS Singapore country head Lim Him Chuan said the public response to the cashback program has been positive. He added that bringing it back for SG60 shows the bank’s ongoing support for its customers and commitment to uplifting local communities and easing everyday costs.
