N. Chandrababu Naidu announced that farmers who contributed land under the second phase of the Land Pooling Scheme in Amaravati will receive a lease amount of ₹40,000 per acre annually for a period of ten years. He also assured that the lease payment would increase by ₹3,000 every year. In addition, each farming household will be eligible for a crop loan of ₹1.5 lakh, according to an official press release issued on Saturday.

P. Narayana stated on April 10 that a total of 31,150 farmers had voluntarily pooled around 34,983 acres of land. This figure includes nearly 1,000 acres contributed by farmers from Pedaparimi village. The government emphasized that the lease support is aimed at ensuring steady income for farmers who have parted with their agricultural land for the capital city’s development.

Farmers from ten villages located in the Tadikonda and Pedakurapadu constituencies met the Chief Minister on Friday to discuss the scheme and its benefits. With the inclusion of lands already acquired, the state has pooled about 54,000 acres in Amaravati so far. The second phase of the Land Pooling Scheme, which began in November 2025, targets the acquisition of an additional 40,000 acres. The initial stage of this phase involves 16,666 acres from seven villages. These lands are intended to support key infrastructure projects such as the construction of an inner ring road, a railway station and track, and an international sports city, strengthening Amaravati’s development as a modern capital.
