Union Home Minister Amit Shah once again emphasized the resolve of the Central government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the fight against Naxalism, stating that it will not stop until all Naxalites either surrender, are caught, or eliminated. His remarks came during a meeting in New Delhi where he felicitated personnel of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Chhattisgarh Police, District Reserve Guard (DRG), and Cobra units for the successful execution of 'Operation Black Forest' on Karreguttalu hill in Chhattisgarh.

Shah praised the bravery of the forces, calling the operation the biggest anti-Naxal action ever carried out on Karreguttalu hill, and said their courage will be remembered as a golden chapter in anti-Naxal history. He reiterated, “The Modi government will not rest until all the Naxalites either surrender, are caught, or eliminated.” Highlighting the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Shah added that the goal is to make India Naxal-free. He commended the security forces for overcoming extreme heat, altitude, and the threat of IEDs to destroy the Naxal base camp.

He noted that the material dump and supply chain established by Naxalites on the hill were decisively destroyed by the CRPF, Chhattisgarh Police, DRG, and Cobra. Shah also said that Naxalites had long harmed underdeveloped areas by shutting down schools, hospitals, and blocking government schemes from reaching the people.

According to him, anti-Naxal operations have brought a new dawn to the lives of 6.5 crore people from Pashupatinath to Tirupati. He reaffirmed that the Modi government is determined to eradicate Naxalism by March 31, 2026, while also working to support security personnel who suffered serious injuries in these operations.
