Air Chief Marshal A.P. Singh was present at the Combined Graduation Parade held at the Air Force Academy in Hyderabad.

Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal A.P. Singh, attended the Combined Graduation Parade on Saturday at the Air Force Academy in Dundigal, Hyderabad. The event marked the completion of pre-commissioning training for Flight Cadets from different branches of the Indian Air Force. Air Chief Marshal Singh also reviewed the graduating officers during the ceremony, which celebrates the successful culmination of rigorous training for the new batch of cadets.
Earlier in the week, on Tuesday, Air Chief Marshal Singh felicitated a group of National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets who had recently summited Mount Everest as part of NCC’s third Everest Expedition. According to the Indian Air Force, the group included ten cadets—five boys and five girls—who reached the summit on May 18. In a post on X, the IAF highlighted their achievement, describing it as a testament to the bravery, resilience, and adventurous spirit of India’s youth. The cadets, all first-time climbers, trained extensively and achieved a 100% success rate, earning accolades from Sherpas and international climbers.
In a separate development, Air Chief Marshal Singh also interacted via video conference with Group Captain Shubanshu Shukla, who is preparing for the upcoming Axiom-4 space mission. The IAF extended its best wishes to Shukla, who is set to become India’s second astronaut to travel to space since 1984. The IAF noted that his journey would mark a significant milestone in India’s growing space endeavors.
