Actor Abhishek Bachchan, who marked a major milestone in his 25-year film career by winning his first-ever Best Actor (Male) award at the 70th Filmfare Awards 2025, dedicated the honor to his wife, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and daughter, Aaradhya. The award, which he received for his performance in I Want To Talk, was met with a standing ovation as he took the stage, visibly emotional. His voice quivered as he thanked the audience and expressed gratitude to those who had supported him throughout his journey, particularly his family.

"This year marks 25 years in the film industry, and I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve rehearsed a speech for this award. This has been a dream, and I’m deeply touched and humbled. Receiving it in front of my family makes it even more meaningful. There are many people I need to thank, so please… Kartik, you go ahead, and take over for now," Abhishek said, becoming emotional during his acceptance speech.

However, it was his heartfelt dedication to his wife and daughter that resonated most with the audience. "To Aishwarya and Aaradhya, thank you for letting me pursue my dreams. I hope this award shows that your sacrifices are a big part of why I stand here today. I dedicate this award to two very special people. This film is about a father and daughter, so I dedicate it to my hero, my father, and to another hero, my daughter. Thank you—words cannot express what this means to me." Directed by Shoojit Sircar, I Want to Talk tells the story of Arjun Sen, a Bengali man chasing the American dream, who discovers he has only 100 days to live. The film follows his emotional journey to reconnect with his estranged seven-year-old daughter.
