On the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, the team behind Ramayana, starring Ranbir Kapoor, made an exciting announcement that delighted fans. Producer Namit Malhotra took to Instagram to share that the film’s next promotional glimpse, titled “Rama,” will be unveiled on April 2, marking the celebration of Hanuman Jayanti.

In his message, he extended warm wishes for Ram Navami and spoke about the deep emotional and cultural significance of the project. He emphasized that Ramayana is a story that belongs to everyone, and the entire team has approached it with sincerity, devotion, and a strong sense of responsibility. According to him, every step of the filmmaking process has been guided by the intention to present the epic in its truest essence while maintaining a grand cinematic scale. He also expressed excitement about sharing years of dedicated effort through a global reveal and thanked audiences for their patience, faith, and continued support.

The film boasts a powerful cast, with Ranbir Kapoor portraying Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, Sunny Deol as Hanuman, and Ravi Dubey as Lakshman. This ensemble has significantly heightened anticipation for the film, making it one of the most awaited releases in the coming years. Director Nitesh Tiwari described the project as more than just a film, calling it a vision aimed at transcending borders while honoring the cultural and spiritual essence of the epic.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra under Prime Focus Studios, in collaboration with DNEG and Monster Mind Creations, Ramayana will be released as a two-part cinematic epic. The first part is scheduled for a worldwide IMAX release during Diwali 2026, followed by the second installment in Diwali 2027, promising a grand and immersive experience for audiences across the globe.
