A fire broke out late on Monday night at a factory located in Delhi’s Bawana Industrial Area, according to officials. Preliminary reports suggest that the blaze originated in Sector 2 of the industrial zone. Upon receiving the emergency alert, the Delhi Fire Department responded promptly, dispatching as many as 17 fire tenders to the site in an effort to contain the situation quickly and efficiently.
Firefighters immediately began operations to bring the flames under control, focusing on preventing the fire from spreading to nearby factories and units within the densely packed industrial cluster. Their swift and coordinated response helped manage the situation, although the exact cause of the fire has not yet been determined. Authorities are expected to conduct further investigations to ascertain the reason behind the incident.
In a separate occurrence on Tuesday, a fire also broke out at the Hard Rock Cafe located in Connaught Place, one of Delhi’s busiest commercial hubs. The Delhi Fire Department received a call regarding the incident at approximately 12:31 PM. In response, four fire tenders were quickly sent to the location to tackle the blaze. Officials stated that the fire originated in the chimney of the restaurant and was contained within minutes, with the situation brought under control by around 12:50 PM. Fortunately, no injuries or casualties were reported in this incident. Authorities credited the timely response and effective action of the fire department for preventing the flames from spreading further within the premises or to nearby structures in the crowded Connaught Place area.
