Anupam Kher's 'Tanvi The Great' screening in Mumbai becomes a star-studded event.

Anupam Kher’s directorial venture Tanvi The Great had a spectacular premiere at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre in Mumbai on Thursday. The event turned into a glittering celebration with several prominent Bollywood personalities gracing the occasion. Among those present were Kirron Kher, Mahesh Bhatt, comedian Krushna Abhishek, and actor Tiku Sharda.
A notable attendee was Anupam Kher’s niece Tanvi, who played a key role in inspiring the film. She posed for pictures alongside the lead actors, Shubhangi Dutt and Anupam Kher. The film is set for theatrical release on July 18, 2025. Kirron Kher, accompanied by her son Sikandar Kher, was also seen at the premiere. Veteran actor Gulshan Grover attended in a stylish maroon suit and posed for the cameras. Singer Anup Jalota was also present, along with celebrities such as Soni Razdan, Sundhi Chauhan, and others.
Earlier, an exclusive screening of Tanvi The Great was held in Delhi, attended by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta. She lauded the film for its emotional depth and inspirational message, especially for children. Speaking to the media, she expressed her desire to arrange screenings of the film for children through the Delhi government, calling it heart-touching, inspirational, and infused with patriotism. “This theme is so powerful and meaningful that every child—across the country and the world—should watch it,” said Gupta. She praised Anupam Kher and his team for shedding light on a unique and sensitive subject, adding, “It reveals an emotional side of children that is often unseen.”
Tanvi The Great marks the debut of actress Shubhangi Dutt and features Jackie Shroff, Boman Irani, and Karan Tacker in significant roles. The film explores themes of autism and the Indian Army and has received international acclaim at film festivals in Cannes, New York, Houston, and London. It also earned standing ovations during special previews at the National Defence Academy and the Southern Command in Pune.
