Mumbai, Aug 23 (AHN) Music composer Akhil Sachdeva, who has composed the song ‘Piya Ghar Aaya - Homecoming’ from the recently released Emraan Hashmi-starrer ‘Awarapan 2’, has revealed that he was removed from some of the biggest films after delivering the songs.
The composer spoke with AHN after the film’s release in the BKC area of Mumbai, and things improved for him greatly after the arrival of his baby girl.
He told AHN, “I don't want to balance anything. You can never balance, you can try as much as you want, you can't balance, you will keep trying. Maybe my only attempt is that I don't want to be like other artistes that's why I never shifted to Mumbai. I come quietly, work quietly and leave. I make music in my home studio in Delhi. I have a different way of thinking I want to be alone I don't want to be in a rat race I don't want to be today, I don't want it tomorrow. Whatever God has written for my life, it’s all good”.
He further mentioned, “If he wants me to make mistakes I will make those mistakes, and learn. Now, I want to get everything that has been written for me so no matter what anyone says I don't care so I don't leave anything out. I don't compromise, whenever I release a song you will talk about it you will not ignore my song that's my belief so keep working. Whatever God has written for you that will happen, and when he hasn't written he tells you to go till the end last year. I was kicked out of so many big films till the last moment I delivered songs. I don't want to take names but there were 3-4 big films, and I delivered songs. I can’t say that people were wrong, I can say time was not favourable, my daughter came, and things improved greatly”.
“I have learned a lot. I will only focus on music. I just want to make, and always be connected with the hearts of the audience. It's not about today or tomorrow. I was here yesterday, I am here today and I will be here till the end. That's what I believe and that's why I work here”, he added.
