The Uttar Pradesh government has approved two industrial enclave projects worth a combined ₹480 crore across more than 420 acres in Gorakhpur and Banda districts. The ₹102-crore Dhuriyapar Industrial Area in Gorakhpur will feature industrial plots, flatted factories, warehouses and a Common Facility Centre. Meanwhile, the ₹378-crore Integrated Manufacturing and Logistics Cluster (IMLC) Phase II in Banda will include industrial, logistics, commercial and residential infrastructure. Approved under the Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojana (BHAVYA), the projects will now proceed to the next stage of review through the National Level Steering Committee. The developments are expected to attract investment, strengthen industrial infrastructure and create employment opportunities across the state.
