The duo had impressed in qualification as well, with Manu topping the standings with 586-20x and Esha finishing second with 585-18x. Speaking after her victory, Esha said overcoming the pressure of expectations made the win even more satisfying. Manu described the bronze as an important confidence booster ahead of the World Championships and Asian Games. The gold adds to an outstanding season for the Hyderabad shooter, who earlier set senior and junior world records at the ISSF World Cup in Munich.
