President Droupadi Murmu appointed Ashim Kumar Ghosh as Haryana's governor, Ashok Gajapathi Raju as Goa's governor, and Kavinder Gupta as Ladakh's new lieutenant governor. The appointments follow the resignation of Brigadier BD Mishra (Retd.) from Ladakh. Ghosh is a BJP leader from West Bengal, while Raju is a senior TDP leader and former civil aviation minister.
