The rally aims to provide meaningful assistance through dedicated help desks addressing pensions, healthcare, and resettlement needs, with support from both Army and State Government representatives. Additionally, a comprehensive medical camp will offer free health consultations and check-ups. Veterans and their families can visit stalls set up by organizations such as the Army Welfare Placement Organisation (AWPO), Directorate of Indian Army Veterans (DIAV), Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS), and the Arunachal Pradesh Resettlement Department to explore available services and opportunities.

To further enhance the spirit of the event, students will showcase cultural performances as a tribute to the veterans. The rally highlights the Indian Army’s unwavering dedication to the welfare of its ex-servicemen and their families, reaffirming the deep and lasting connection with those who once wore the uniform.

In a parallel gesture of respect, the Indian Army also commemorated the families of fallen heroes on the 26th Kargil Vijay Diwas. Officers visited the Noida residence of Capt Vijayant Thapar, honouring his parents—Col (Retd) V N Thapar and his wife—with a commemorative memento. The visit stirred heartfelt emotions and pride, echoing with patriotic chants of "Bharat Mata Ki Jai."
