Samsung has introduced three new smartphones in its Galaxy A-series lineup in India—Galaxy A56 5G, Galaxy A36 5G, and Galaxy A26 5G. All three models come with Android 15-based One UI 7 and feature AI-powered enhancements, including Google’s Circle to Search. Samsung has also committed to providing six years of software support, ensuring users receive regular Android OS upgrades and security updates.
The new Galaxy A-series devices are equipped with Samsung’s AI-powered "Awesome Intelligence" suite, which incorporates advanced features from its flagship Galaxy AI lineup. Users can access gesture-based Circle to Search and the Object Eraser tool on all three models, while the Galaxy A56 offers additional capabilities like Best Face and Nightography for enhanced photography.
Each of the smartphones comes with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display featuring FHD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. They also share a 50MP primary camera with autofocus and optical image stabilization (OIS), ensuring high-quality shots. A 5000mAh battery powers the devices, and they come with an IP67 rating, making them resistant to dust and water.
The Galaxy A56 is powered by the Exynos 1580 processor and supports up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It features a 50MP primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP macro sensor, while the front houses a 12MP selfie camera. The device supports 45W wired charging for quick power-ups.
The Galaxy A36, on the other hand, is equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset and offers similar memory and storage options. Its rear camera setup consists of a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP macro camera, while the front features a 12MP selfie shooter. Like the A56, it supports 45W wired charging.
The more affordable Galaxy A26 is powered by the Exynos 1380 chipset, with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It retains the 50MP primary sensor but pairs it with an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro lens. The front camera is slightly upgraded to 13MP. Unlike the other two models, it supports 25W wired charging instead of 45W.
With their AI-powered features, high-quality displays, and long-term software support, the new Galaxy A-series smartphones aim to deliver a premium experience at a competitive price, catering to a wide range of users in the Indian market.
