On its third day, Jolly LLL 3 starring Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi rakes in Rs 50 crore at the box office.

Jolly LLB 3, the latest installment in the hit courtroom drama franchise starring Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi, and Saurabh Shukla, has wrapped up its opening weekend on a strong note. Released on Friday, September 19, 2025, the film has crossed the ₹50 crore mark at the Indian box office, fueled by positive word-of-mouth and encouraging reviews.
The movie began with a slow start but quickly gained momentum as audiences responded enthusiastically. It has performed well in domestic markets, especially in East Punjab and the Delhi NCR regions. This installment follows Jolly LLB 2, released in 2017 with Akshay Kumar and Huma Qureshi, and the original Jolly LLB from 2013, which starred Arshad Warsi, Saurabh Shukla, and Amrita Rao.
During its opening weekend, the film earned ₹12.5 crore on Friday, ₹20 crore on Saturday, and ₹21 crore on Sunday, bringing the total collection to ₹53.5 crore. Occupancy rates also showed steady growth, rising from 13.87% on the first day to 41.81% by Sunday, with morning, afternoon, and evening shows showing significant increases over the weekend. Analysts noted that a cricket match on Sunday may have slightly affected ticket sales that day.
The film’s plot centers on the rivalry between two “Jollies,” each striving to prove they are the true Jolly in the court system, often bending rules and exploiting legal technicalities. The story involves a case where struggling farmers’ land is threatened by a corrupt businessman played by Gajraj Rao. Akshay Kumar’s character finds himself in a tricky situation, leading to a series of chaotic and humorous interactions with Arshad Warsi.
Directed by Shubhash Kapoor, the film features Huma Qureshi, Saurabh Shukla, Amrita Rao, Seema Biswas, Ram Kapoor, Gajraj Rao, Shilpa Shukla, Brijendra Kala, and several other notable actors. Presented by Star Studio18, Jolly LLB 3 has emerged as a promising addition to the franchise, delighting audiences across the country.
