Nothing’s upcoming flagship, the Phone 3, is expected to come with notable enhancements in both battery size and charging speed. A recent report by The Tech Outlook revealed that the device has been spotted on the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) certification website, which disclosed key specifications. According to the listing, the Phone 3 is set to feature a 5,150mAh battery along with support for 65W wired charging. This marks a considerable upgrade from the Nothing Phone 2, which came with a 4,700mAh battery and 45W wired charging. The Phone 3 is scheduled to launch on July 1 during Nothing’s “Come to Play” event. Alongside the smartphone, the company will also unveil its first pair of over-ear headphones, named the Nothing Headphone 1.

Ahead of the official launch, Nothing has already confirmed several of the Phone 3’s standout features. The device will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, which is expected to offer improved overall performance and more efficient on-device AI capabilities. Additionally, Nothing has announced a strong software support policy for this model, promising five years of operating system updates and seven years of security patches—making it the most extensively supported device in the company’s history.

The FCC documentation also hints at support for Wi-Fi 6E with triple-band functionality, suggesting faster and more reliable wireless connectivity. In terms of design, the Phone 3 will feature a new “Glyph Matrix” system, which replaces the previous Glyph Interface found on earlier models. This upgraded dot-matrix-style LED panel, located on the upper-right corner of the phone’s rear side, is expected to introduce more customizable animations and potentially interactive elements, such as mini-games.

As per current information, the Phone 3 will sport a 6.77-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 3000 nits. It will be available with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. On the camera front, the phone is rumored to include a triple-camera setup with a 50MP main sensor and a 32MP front camera. Wireless charging will also be included, supporting up to 20W in addition to the 65W wired charging. All in all, the Nothing Phone 3 appears to be a significant leap forward for the brand, blending top-tier hardware, extended software support, and a refreshed design approach.
