A 33-year-old woman from Noida was found dead under suspicious circumstances at her husband’s home in Bhopal, triggering allegations of harassment and demands for a thorough investigation from her family. The deceased, identified as Twisha Sharma, had reportedly married a Bhopal-based lawyer earlier this year after the two met through a dating application. According to family members, her marriage had been troubled for several months, and she had allegedly complained about mental stress and mistreatment at her in-laws' residence.

Twisha’s family claimed they were informed about her death late and accused local authorities of delaying action after they reached Bhopal. Speaking to the media, relatives alleged that they noticed injury marks on her body and suspected foul play. “We are living in horror. We just want a fair investigation,” a family member said while demanding strict action against those responsible.

The incident has drawn widespread attention after reports surfaced about Twisha’s alleged final messages to a close friend, in which she reportedly expressed fear and emotional distress. The messages are now being examined as part of the investigation. Following growing public pressure, Bhopal Police have constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the case. Police officials said statements are being recorded and all angles, including allegations of domestic harassment, are being investigated.

The woman's husband is reportedly untraceable, and police teams have been deployed to locate him. The case has sparked debate on social media, with many users demanding transparency in the investigation and stricter action in cases involving suspicious deaths of married women. Twisha’s family has also sought an independent post-mortem examination and appealed for a fair and unbiased inquiry into the circumstances surrounding her death. Authorities said further action will depend on forensic findings and the outcome of the ongoing investigation.
