If the watch detects signs of pulselessness, which could indicate a cardiac or respiratory arrest, it will first issue a check-in alert. If the user does not respond, the watch will escalate the situation by triggering an emergency alarm and calling life-saving services. This feature, set to arrive by the end of March 2025, is designed to provide an added layer of safety for Pixel Watch users. The update also brings more accurate step tracking, menstrual health tracking via the Fitbit app on Pixel Watch 3, auto-bedtime mode on Pixel Watch 2, and several bug fixes to improve overall performance.
