Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta conducted a roadshow in Siwan on Tuesday ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections, campaigning for NDA candidate Indradev Singh. She stated that the development achieved under Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar would continue to advance under the NDA government. Speaking to ANI, Rekha Gupta said, “The people of Siwan stand with the NDA. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi and Nitish Kumar, Bihar’s development will accelerate further. I am confident our candidate will secure a clear majority. The people of Bihar want the NDA government.”

Gupta also remarked that the people of Bihar, especially women, understand that progress is possible only under NDA’s governance. She accused the RJD and Congress of deceiving the public, saying, “The people of Bihar are aware that real development can only happen under the NDA. Those with the lantern and those with jewelry symbols have looted the state and left people in hardship. Bihar’s citizens will no longer be misled by them.”

While addressing a gathering in Patna, Rekha Gupta said that Bihar has seen through Rahul Gandhi’s “tricks,” accusing the Congress and RJD of enriching themselves while neglecting the poor during their years in power. “They ruled Bihar for decades — sometimes Congress, sometimes RJD — and only their leaders prospered. Ordinary people stayed poor. Progress in Bihar began under Nitish Kumar and Prime Minister Modi,” she added. Polling for Bihar’s 243 assembly seats will be held in two phases, on November 6 and 11, with counting scheduled for November 14.
