With Diwali around the corner, Ayodhya’s markets are alive with devotional enthusiasm. At the heart of the festive rush are the child idols of Ram Lalla, emerging as the most popular keepsakes for visitors to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. These idols, capturing the divine innocence of Lord Ram, are selling fast in local markets and temple lanes, attracting devotees eager to bring one home for Diwali worship.

“We visited the Ram Temple to see him in his child form, and now we are taking his idol home for Diwali worship. The idols in the market are beautiful and adorable, offering glimpses of both Lord Ram and Lord Krishna,” said one devotee. Another visitor noted that the miniature idols closely resemble the original idol consecrated at the Ram Temple.

A devotee from Lucknow added, “After visiting the temple, we found these idols in the market. They are so beautiful, affordable, and perfect for Diwali celebrations.” Visuals from the city show large crowds browsing Ram idols and other festive items as preparations for Diwali 2025 and Deepotsav gain momentum. Streets across Ayodhya have been adorned with lamp-shaped lights, enhancing both the spiritual and aesthetic charm of the city. According to officials, these decorations have heightened the sense of devotion and pride among residents and visitors alike.
