Ukraine has announced the capture of two Chinese nationals who were allegedly fighting alongside Russian forces. According to President Zelensky, the individuals were apprehended in the Donetsk region and were found carrying identification documents and bank cards. He also suggested that the actual number of Chinese citizens involved in combat may be significantly higher. Zelensky has directed Ukraine's Foreign Minister to reach out to Beijing for an official response. In the past, Russia has reportedly deployed North Korean troops in efforts to drive Ukrainian forces out of the Kursk region.
