India’s Defence Minister Rajnath Singh stated that he prefers not to discuss Pakistan’s future. His remarks alluded to the earlier ‘jelly state’ comment made by former Rajya Sabha MP MJ Akbar. Earlier this year, in May, India and Pakistan exchanged hostilities following the Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) on April 22. In retaliation, India carried out precision strikes inside Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, targeting terrorist camps.
