After several days of intense diplomatic talks in Istanbul, Afghanistan and Pakistan have finalized their critical negotiations to ease the growing tensions along their unstable border. The discussions, which took place from October 25-30 with mediation from Turkey and Qatar, resulted in a tentative agreement to prolong the ceasefire that was initially established in Doha earlier this month.
